Air France would like to inform you of the following changes to our Baggage Policy, effective for tickets issued on or after November 1, 2005 for transportation between North America and Air France destinations worldwide:

Free Baggage Allowance—Piece Concept

·      Passengers traveling in Tempo (economy

     2 pieces weighing up to 23 kilograms (50 pounds) each

·  Flying Blue Platinum and Club 2000 members traveling in Tempo (economy) class: 

       2 pieces weighing up to 32 kilograms (70 pounds) each

· 
Passengers traveling in L’Espace Affaires (business) class and L’Espace Premiere (First Class) – Free Baggage Allowance unchanged: 

       2 pieces weighing up to 32 kilograms (70 pounds) each

        For travel in all classes of service, the maximum weight of any checked bag is 32 Kilos (70 pounds).   In Tempo , any piece of luggage weighing between 23 and 32 Kilos (50-70 pounds) will be charged an applicable fee.

·
        Any bag weighing more than 32 Kilos (70 pounds) must be shipped as cargo unless prior authorization has been obtained from Air France “Transports Exceptionnels” (Exceptional Shipments) Department in Paris.

        The Free Baggage Allowance for tickets originating outside North America may differ.   Please consult Air France for more information.
